Tears Dry on their Own

Today, we lost one of the greatest voices to come from this generation.  Though many people knew her for things other than her talent, what we should remember her for is her talent and the joy her music brought to so many people, including myself.
Not only was Amy Winehouse a gorgeous voice, but she had a style all her own.  She may have taken a few wrong turns, but her talent, love of her craft, and unique style has inspired me and so many others.

Even though the press and most of the public will focus on her bad choices, I want to remember her for something more possitive.

Here's a little style tribute to her

We will always love you, Amy.
Love, the fans.

Free Bins and Hot Pretzels

So, my friends- Holly and Mckenzie (Gal with Curves) and myself went on an adventure in downtown Nashville.  We vintaged shopped, got lost, and ate pizza.
Over-all a successful day.
When all was said and done, I was the only one who actually bought anything.  I got a pair of bellbottoms from the 70s for $20.  But, to our joy - there was a free bin outside one of the vintage shops!  From there I grabbed two flannel shirts and a pair of plaid pants that probably belonged to my dad.  Yes, I wear boy's clothes sometimes.
Now, I'm just on the hunt for a few items: bow-tie, bowler hat, newsboy cap, saddle oxfords, and a boy who wears stuff like that.
Good luck, to myself.
I do love vintage...

And here's a mannequin's ass.

Have a lovely day..
Love, Kelsey

It's pretty obvious...

The latest, greatest online fashion community.
When you sign up, you can lux items on any online store.
When you lux the item, it will show up on the Obvilux website where all the other luxers can view and adore it.  The website shows the store where you luxed the item from, and viewers can go to the site to purchase the item.
You can also re-lux items people have already posted.
On top of all that, you can compile lots of luxes to create a style-set.
These style-sets will also be shared with the rest of the community, and can be re-luxed as well.

Here are some of my style-sets.
Click the link for links to all the online stores represented.

Stand out from the crowd at the club or party.

Military themed outfit for a night on the town.

Sometimes we need a little rock and roll.

Drop some acid, and look good at the same time.

The freaks come out at night.

At Obvilux, you earn points for everything you lux, re-lux, or for any style-sets you make.  You also can earn points by adding following people, or when people follow you along with having your luxes  or style-sets re-luxed by someone else.

This community is on the rise, and I would hate for you to miss out on it!

Not just anybody!

Help!

I need someone to design a new blog header and/or logo for my blog/photography!

You'll notice that my current header is less than impressive, because it is just a place holder until I get a new header.

Here are some past headers and logos I have used.

Of course, the headers and logos need to contain the blog name.  The pictures used can be some of my photography (see "Photography" page above), a picture (or pictures) of me, or just a beautiful image that I can credit to someone.

You guys know my style, and you can clearly see the current layout of my blog.  So..send your ideas and submissions to buddyhollyshow@gmail.com
Of course, I will credit the one I choose, and maybe use the rest in other places.
Please and thank you,
Kelsey

I solemnly swear...

I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.

Tonight is the premier of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
To prepare for the occasion, my freinds and I held a little marathon of all the previous films.
Of course, we had food.
And of course, we took pictures.

During the movies, we played some games as well.
Diagon Alley and Apples to Apples (or Apples to Alan Rickman, as we call it)

Tonight, we shall dress up and stay up one last time.
Of course, we are getting to the theater hours early to wait in line with fellow Potterheads.

And, of course, after the credits roll we will all raise our wand in the air and shout

MISCHIEF MANAGED!
